Post date: 15-Apr-2016 15:04:02

After a day's rest at trials Ed and Luke were today joined by Tom Millburn who swam the 1500m FC. After a steady start he soon got into his rhythm posting a time of 16.22.53 just outside his PB. Ed was in his favourite event today and made sure of a centre lane place in the Tokyo 22 final with a PB busting 2.15.6, beating his PB by 0.2 of a second and finishing 11th overall.

The plan for today for Luke was to race the morning but look to pull from this evenings session to concentrate on the 200Bk later in the week. however so good was his heat swim that he placed himself right in contention in the Tokyo 22 final, with a 0.5 s PB in 54.3.

Another amazing evening in Glasgow for the Ed and Luke, both of who smashed their PBs securing 3rd in the 200 Br in a European Junior nomination time of 2.15.15 and 1st for Luke in the 100fly Tokyo 22 final in 54.02 .

The is make the 4th consecutive year that Cockermouth have represented their Team GB with 4 different swimmers. A massive well done to both πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’ͺ🏻πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
